Designed by the eminent Victorian tile designer William De Morgan, these wonderful tiles have been reproduced as accurately as possible by a well respected ceramic tile studio.

Both the colours and materials have been well researched in order to produce a tile as close to the original as possible.

All the tiles are hand painted and finished.

A classic tile ideal for any period setting, this example is designed for use in a fireplace panel, stacking vertically. The design however is versatile, and works well as an inset, in conjunction with plain tiles.

We offer a 5% discount on quantities of between 10 and 50. Between 50 and 100 - 10%

Original versions of this tile are very rare, often fetching up to £300 per tile.

OTHER INFO: All of the colours are subject to a degree of variation. It is advisible to order a sufficient number of tiles (including spares if appropriate) as exact colour matching of subsequent batches cannot be guarenteed.

Crazing is a natural characteristic of these glazes adding a rich depth to the quality of the surface. We recommend that any crazed tile exposed to frequent and prolonged wetting, for example in a shower, be treated with a silicone sealant.
